How to Create an SSTV Cam for your location:

You will need is a receiver that covers the SSTV frequencies in the amateur bands, a computer connected to the internet, SSTV software for receiving the pictures and the following software for uploading the images to your web page.

Download KE5RS FTP Widget software to automatically upload (or ftp) images from your computer to a remote server or host after they are saved from your SSTV software.  You can also steal the HTML code from this single image SSTV page or more a more advanced 3 image SSTV page both with time stamp. Both pages refresh every 90 seconds. If a new image is uploaded to the server, it will display the new image.

Here is an example how to set up FTP Widget and MMSSTV on your computer.

Create a new folder on your hard drive “c:\sstvpics” and in the FTP Widget properties dialog box towards the right side “Local Drive and Directory Path” point to this new folder “C:\sstvpics”

Within MMSSTV on the history tab, right click on the image and select “Auto copy to another folder” and “Assign another folder name” and enter “c\sstvpics”

FTP Widget should find SSTV  images from MMSSTV in this new folder and upload them to your website.
the server where you put the SSTV Cam page and your set.

Please Note:  The FTP Widget program may not work correctly for you if your posting to a NT server.  If you are posting (uploading) your images to a web service provider who uses NT server, you may encounter uploading errors.  FTP Widget will get errors when trying to upload images. The FTP Widget works fine on Unix and Linux servers.
